First there was was car wrapping, now comes wheel wrapping...

More specifically just the rims (the lip, not as in 'rimz') are cunningly coated in a strip of patterned vinyl, intended to be easy enough for the home wrapper to carry out on his Mum's laminate floor (insert homeboy rapper joke here).

A quick search didn't bring up any suppliers here in the UK as yet, it seems to be a growing Japanese trend with just a few local V-Dubbers following suit. Oh yes, and before you ask, there is of course a Burberry style pattern available.

I actually quite like the idea, obviously only for projects/track cars/retro toys though, I can't see it suiting a brand new Audi for example. Until maybe the tasteless wonder that is Stephen Ireland sees this anyway.
