Believe it or not (I did not and had to check twice), this monstrosity is not yet another model from my favourite brand of automotive deformation (Mitsuoka), but it is a special edition Impreza from the creators themselves; Subaru. It seems the Japanese were actually at it first. By 'it' I mean making a dogs dinner out of anything and everything with an engine.

Called the Impreza Casa Blanca, the name exudes class almost as much as the design itself and was intended as a special retro edition in a nod towards their Vivio Bistro hotchpotch and that silly little van thing the Sambar Dias Classic.
