Being an E30 enthusiast lover utter geek, I have often been seen posting links to a certain E30 M3 piloted around the Isle of Man by a certain talented Belgian; other-worldly Patrick Snijers. In '88 he completed the rally in first place and obliterated the local competition; a feat that was unheard of at the time.

However later this week, more than 20 years since the legendary footage below was shot, the highly skilled showman Snijers is to return to Manx surroundings behind the wheel of an E30. See the full local information here, it seems the action kicks off this Friday evening. I'd love to be there, but I'll have to make do with this clip again (and reading the write up of course).
